My learning goal is to learn how to use a different clay type and how to sculpt/carve it. I am more familiar with the kind of clay that needs to be fired and usually glazed after it has been sculpted, and I would like to try and use paper clay or air dry one. This is because air dry clay is much easier to use at home, and I would like to continue to use this clay after this project. This project will also help me advance my skills in working with this type of clay. My product goal is to design a jewelry box/container that looks like a book, which is made out of air dry clay.
