Diary and blog for Indian cooking
Shaurya
In the last year or so I have had some of my thoughts directed towards how life would be like post secondary school, thinking about university and other possible pathways I could take into the future. This also has led my family to talking about how I will have to learn about the various activities that go on to make sure a house can function such as cleaning, how to use a washing machine and various other chores. This also has led to them talking about learning how to cook.
I want to learn how to cook my own culture’s food and this is going to be very helpful for me in the future as I have always loved to eat home cooked food and Indian food is much more than eating out so learning how to cook would be vital for me to live after graduation. It would also let me continue to eat food I enjoy and continue to enjoy the parts of my culture that I want to embrace and keep with me wherever I go. This is one of the most important parts of my life and ensuring that I keep my culture with me is quite important to me.
