The impact of this tapestry on myself and my learning has been great. I have improved on many skills such as tapestry making and writing reflections. As well as many skills that relate to the AtLs. For example, my artwork analysis allowed me to focus on research and organising information while my long-term plan helped me to plan and manage my time. This has impacted me as a student because now I feel like I am a more organised individual and I feel like I am able to manage my time better. This project has made me more aware of the environmental problems that oceans have, specifically around Sai Kung where I have been able to source all the plastic waste for my tapestry. This has helped me become more aware of littering and plastic pollution on the beaches around my home and has helped me take more action to clean it up and recycle it.
