My goal for the personal project is to create a small video montage to inform a minority of the hong kong population about the ideals and importance of street skateboarding and its culture. Something I want to learn about is how to attract people to the culture of street skateboarding and the separate sport within skateboarding itself. Breaking down tricks I am doing will help get people more intrigued with what I am trying to land/do. The reasoning behind my project plan. When my friends and I go street skating, we are normally put up with all sorts of challenges. This is why I want this to be my project, to spread awareness on how street skateboarding is just a sport, and not an excuse for being foolish and “teenage dirtbags”.
