The first goal for this project is to learn what key beginner points do I need to focus on to put into the video. I am currently in the Hong Kong Sports institute as a youth ILCA (Laser boat) sailor doing intense sail training, fitness and traveling the world to compete in different sailing competitions. But during my free time, I like to return to the place where I started my sailing career, Hebe Haven Yacht Club, to provide beginner sailors the path and my knowledge to becoming a professional sailor. Though the laser sailboat is the most popular sailing dinghy in the world there isn’t a single video that collects all of the most important key points in laser sailing and puts them into a single clip. So by creating this video it can fasttrack teaching a beginner by giving them all of the key points you need when just starting to sail a Laser. My second goal is to learn how to create a video that engages the audience and motivates them to learn and train hard to become a good laser sailor.
