Welcome to Art-stravaganza

What is an Art-stravaganza, I hear you cry? Well, it’s like Sports Day, but with art! We will be hosting a live event where you can tune in and participate in various visual Art Challenges to have some fun, perhaps try something new, stretch those creative muscles, and win points for your House. You will be able to submit your entries from Wednesday 8 April to Friday 10 April via this website. In addition to the Art Challenges, we are inviting you to share your artwork with the HKA community: you can submit any visual artwork you have created (can be recently, or from before) to our online exhibition Padlet here. House points for all contributions! We will also be creating a collaborative community-wide art piece: so make sure you’re there to get involved! Finally, we will have some special guests from our diverse community, sharing their artistic talents with us.

Collaborative Drawing Challenge

If you only complete one drawing challenge today, make it this one! The HKA community is coming together to create a large collaborative drawing. No technical skills required! If you can doodle, this one’s a doddle. Give it a go, and you’re sure to be surprised by the outcome. (30 mins) Download:Picasso’s drawing of Igor Stravinsky / Durer’s drawing of his wife, Agnes

Drawing challenge 3: Non-dominant hand drawing

Drawing Challenge
This quick drawing gets you to slow down and work deliberately by asking you to use the hand you do NOT normally write or draw with. Expect some weird and wonderful outcomes. (5 mins)
